Shirodhara (Medicated oil over Forehead)

Service Description

Shirodhara (shiro-dar-a), the term comes from the Sanskrit word shiras meaning "head" and dhara meaning "flow." It is a classical and a well-established ayurvedic procedure of slowly and steadily dripping medicated oil or other liquids on the forehead. Sometimes all one needs to encourage new hair growth is to fully hydrate the skin and make way for new to strands to flourish. This method is especially important for those who have dry scalp due to genetic factors or other underlying conditions. ​ Note: This treatment includes an ayurvedic head and scalp massage to improve the blood circulation to the scalp and reduce stress, both of which support the outcome of improved hair growth.
